FAQ

  • Galen is especially skilled at adjusting her teaching to any level of student. If you have never danced before or even if you have never been in front of a camera, Galen will use her eye to see what’s special about you and coach you in presenting those strengths. It takes courage to sign up for an experience that is intimidating- if you’re reading this FAQ, this is your sign to go for it! GHM Intensives are known for their inclusive environment and there is no better place to reach your full potential.

  • If your goal is to learn how to perform on camera but you don’t have on-camera experience, this session will be the perfect place to lay an invaluable foundation on which to build! For many experienced performers, there are often habits they’ve developed that actually need to be undone. Fortunately for you, you get to start from scratch with the best approach to performing on camera.

  • The routine will be adjustable for each student and will be similar to “i love you” and “Best Part” in that it is accessible to beginner and advanced dancers. Because it is a small session, you may work with Galen on adjusting any section of choreography that is too challenging. The difficulty of the choreography should not interfere with your ability to focus on the on-camera skills being built.
