Join from anywhere in the world.

Learn Galen's unique approach to storytelling and how to apply it to any art form.

Uncover your creative DNA.

For all performers (dancers, actors, singers, etc).

This is similar to a mini-mentorship; each student will gain tools for expanding and mastering storytelling according to their specific goals.

Past students' projects ranged from dance, choreography, music, poetry and editing.

  • Only 5 students per session

  • 1-on-1 Customized Feedback

  • Open to all levels

Course Structure:

Sessions will be held on Zoom.

All sessions will be recorded for replay, should you be unavailable to attend.

You will receive off-site projects to complete each week.

Galen joins live for Week 1 (a kickoff meeting!), Week 3 (midterm review), week 5 (Final review & Q&A).

A group chat will be available in between meetings to keep each other accountable, share "works in progress", have a sounding board for ideas, and feel a sense of community.

  • Aug 2, 11am-12pm PST:
Galen will join you live for a kick-off meeting! Each student will present their storytelling goals and receive a bespoke assessment of their strengths & a project to complete the following week.

For example, do you want to get better at storytelling while executing choreography? Do you want to put on a live show and need guidance? Want to make concept videos but need direction?

Not sure what you’d present? You can express what kind of storytelling you’re drawn to and Galen can present ideas!

  • Aug 9:
Off-site homework this week. Group chat brainstorming and feedback available.

  • Aug 16, 11am-12pm PST:
Galen will join you live for a midterm review & expand on storytelling instruction. Students ask questions, get clarity, and elevate capabilities based on the midterm project review. Project #2 is assigned.

  • Aug 23:
Off-site homework this week. Group chat brainstorming and feedback available.

  • Aug 30, 11am -12pmPST:
